Hampstead is a green and affluent suburb of northwest London, famed for its intellectual, artistic, musical and literary heritage and its enormous, wild park, Hampstead Heath. It has some of the most beautiful domestic Georgian architecture in Britain.
Hampstead offers a wide range of cultural activities including Keats' House, Burgh House Gallery and Museum and Kenwood House, set in the heart of the Heath. Though only a short distance from the centre of London, Hampstead retains an enviable village atmosphere and charm, and as such boasts some of the most expensive and luxurious residential housing in London.
